When I was honorably discharged from the Army in the 80's, Bruce interviewed me for a job at State Farm.  Although he couldn't hire me for the company car position (because I had too many tickets at the time), he played a huge role in finding a position for me within the Southeastern RO.  I still remember Bruce telling me in the interview that he would leave money in the company cars to test whether I would return it or keep it.  I think of Bruce often and was sad to see his obit in the local paper in Bloomington, IL. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and his family.  May God bring you peace in this time of grief.

I'm so sorry to hear of Mr. Wilmoth's passing.  Regardless of age or circumstance, losing a parent is never easy.  And I can't begin to imagine losing a spouse of 62 years. I had the pleasure of meeting Bruce when his State Farm policies were assigned to my father, Bill Cotter. Bruce came in the office often & we always chatted about the old State Farm. What I remember most about Brother Wilmoth was how he met you at the front door of the church and always looked like he was up to something.  It made me smile just to see him!  I also remember Sister Wilmoth talking about their "ten minute" kisses after one of our Ladies' Retreats.  She meant "ten second" but it has stuck with me all these years.  I look forward to sharing Heaven with Brother Wilmoth and will be praying for his family.  May God bless you all.
