

He graduated from Forest High School in 1971 and attended college before joining the United States Air Force, Air National Guard. During the Vietnam War, he received the Meritorious Service Medal with a rank of Master Sergeant. He and Carol Stone Bordeaux were married on March 28, 2015.
Ray was a marine mechanic with Lamb’s Yacht Center for 44 years. He was a brilliant mechanic and could fix any engine. Ray loved motorcycles from the age of 14 years old and road them all of his life. He was a hard worker and had a paid job from the age of 10 years old until his death. Always willing to help his family and friends. He was a proud American who served his country for 22 years. He also attend Black Creek Methodist Church in Middleburg, FL.
Ray is survived his wife, Carol Stone Bordeaux of Maxville, FL; daughters, Courtney King and Cathline Johnson; son, Chase Capo; brother, Michael of Orange Park, FL; brother, David Bordeaux of Holland; brother, Henry Bordeaux of Canada; sister, Arlene (Lyn) Bordeaux of Jacksonville, FL; sister, Melissa Montgomery; niece and nephew, Justin and Princess; Aunt Ethyl, age 100, of North Carolina; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 15, 2023 from 2:00 to 4:30 p.m. at Lamb’s Yacht Center Inc., 3376 Lake Shore Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32210
Military Honors at Jacksonville National Cemetery, will be announced.
