Carl Strickland

Carl W Strickland came to this earth May 23rd, 1956. Born to James and Lula Strickland, who have both proceeded him in death and went to be with the lord surrounded by family and loved ones on September 20th, 2025. He was a graduate of Andrew Jackson high school class of 1974 and went on to live a life full of adventure. Carl would go on to get his pilots license, go on many road trips, become a semiprofessional photographer and then meet the love of his life who he would go on to marry Charlene R Strickland. They together would have a son Sterling A Strickland. Sterling and his wife Joslin would together give them two beautiful grandchildren Nolan and Hailey who would be the joy of Carl's life. He is preceded in death by his parents James and Lula and sister Lucile. He is survived by his Wife Charlene, Son Sterling (Joslin), Grandchildren Nolan and Hailey, Sister Sonji (Chris) Brothers Ronald and Neil, many nieces and nephews and a mass of friends whom he would consider family. Carl was loved by many and would touch many lives. He will be missed by all. 

A visitation for Carl will be held Sunday, September 28, 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Hardage-Giddens Chapel Hills Funeral Home, 850 St Johns Bluff Road North, Jacksonville, FL 32225. A funeral service will occur Monday, September 29, 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same address, with a committal service to follow.
