Carmen Cruz Santonil, 70, of Jacksonville, FL passed away Thursday May 6, 2021. Se was born in Bularit, Gerona, Tarlac, Philippines. Carmen graduated form the University of Pangasinan School of Nursing. She married Jaime Santonil in September 1976.
Carmen worked as a Registered Nurse in Jacksonville for over 30 years, primarily at St. Vincent’s Hospital, Riverside. Carmen loved tending to her garden and planting roses. She enjoyed cooking and caring for family and friends, especially for her two grandchildren.
Carmen was preceded in death by her father, Emeterio and her mother, Guadalupe; her sibling Patricio and Marcial.
She is survived by her husband Jaime; her daughter Jennifer; her grandchildren Victoria and Benjamin; her brothers Ernesto and Jose; her sisters Lazar and Ligaya; and numerous family members and friends in Jacksonville and the Philippines.
A Memorial Service for Carmen will be held Friday, June 11, 2021 at 2:30 p.m. at Hardage-Giddens, Riverside Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Boulevard, Jacksonville, Florida 32205 with an Inurnment Service following.
