Carol J. Connors, 72, passed away Monday, June 19, 2017 in Jacksonville, FL. She was born April 29, 1945 to Dewitt and Myrtice Conner in Tifton, GA. Carol loved watching her Georgia Bulldog football team as well as the Atlanta Braves baseball team. She enjoyed her luck at the slot machines but especially enjoyed spending time with her family. Carol is preceded in death by her parents and her brother Butch Conner. She is survived by her husband of 24 years Robert, seven children William Harden, Candy Summerville, Kelly Harden, Charles Bryant, Cindy Walker, Mike Connors and Maryann Lambert, and grandchildren William Harden, Christina Monk, Ryan Meeks, Jennifer Goodson, Steven Harden, Stacy Truit, Tylea Walker, Bishop Walker, Shyla Walker, Patricia Walker, Aleia Sky Walker, Alyssa Bryant, Robert Bryant, Addisyn Bryant and Carson Bryant, Abbi Connors, Aiden Connors and Christopher Lambert, many great-grandchildren and her brother Gary Conner. Arrangements under the care of Hardage-Giddens Riverside Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32205. A visitation for friends will be held at the funeral home on Friday, June 23, 2017 from 2:00-4:00pm. Funeral services to begin at 4:00pm. Interment to be held on Monday, June 26, 2017 at 2:30pm at Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Road, Jacksonville, FL 32218.
