Carol Ann Weston

Carol Ann Gaskins Weston, age 73, passed away Friday, November 1, 2024. Carol was born February 28, 1951 during a leap year in Bethesda, Maryland. She was daughter of the late Floyd Lafayette Gaskins and Irene Matilda Kutch.

Carol was a loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother and friend. Carol dedicated 28 years as a proud Navy Wife. Carol retired in 2015 from an extensive career and Swisher and loved her work family.

Carol fiercely loved her family and enjoyed every minute she had with them all. Carol loved big family gatherings and being surrounded by her siblings, children and grandchildren. Being a grandmother was her most rewarding role. Carol enjoyed crafting and making things with her hands. She made various scrapbooks and wreaths for her family and friends.

Along with her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her brothers, Floyd J. Gaskins and Mark A. Gaskins.

Carol is survived by her sisters, Patty, Cindy, Linda, Donna and her brother Michael; her children, Kim Weston Tindall (Tom); David A. Weston (Jenivee), James K. Weston and her grandchildren, Maddie, David Jr., Treyvn, Becca and Jax.

The family will receive friends at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 30, 2024 at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32205, followed by the memorial service.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests that a memorial contribution be made to the ASPCS or Jacksonville Humane Society.

The family would ask that any flower donations be in the form of potted plants so that the family can plant them in Carol’s honor on the family property.
