Catherine Ann Flynn, age 73, went to be with her Lord and Savior November 14, 2014 in Jacksonville, FL. Catherine was born June 15, 1941 in Jacksonville, Florida to Dothan and Violet (Frampton) Peacock. She was a member of Springfield Baptist Church. She enjoyed camping, cooking, spending a lot of time entertaining her friends and family. Catherine will be missed dearly by her sons Bruce Ogden and Oscar Flynn Jr. (Kathi); daughters Melody Owens (Ernie), Rhonda Strickland (Wayne), and Debbie Bennett (Donnie); a sister Frances McGuffy; special friends Walter Donnelly and Lisa Brown; as well as numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Family will receive friends and family 6:00 – 8:00 pm Wednesday November 19, 2014 at Hardage-Giddens Town & Country Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205, www.townandcountryfuneralhome.com. Funeral services will be held 10:00 am Thursday, November 20, 2014 at the funeral home. Interment will follow the services at Riverside Memorial Park.
