

Charlotte Francis Livingston passed away at the age of 91 years old on October 9, 2024 at Baptist Hospital downtown Jacksonville after a 5 year battle with Alzheimer’s/Dementia. She was born June 12, 1933 in Fayetteville, NC. Both of her parents passed away by the time she was 11 years old. She finished her childhood raised in a Christian Military Academy where she excelled, was a majorette and graduated at the young age of 16. She married William Henry Livingston at the age of 21 and had two children. They stayed married for 19 years and divorced in the early 70’s. At that time she became a single mother of a teenage daughter and a newborn son. She never faltered or complained. She got a job at St. Vincent’s Medical Center and worked there for 37 years in the patient accounting department. She was able to provide a good life for herself and her family.
She loved her church, Hill Crest Baptist, and was a member for over 30 years. She loved bowling and was a member of a senior league for several years. She also loved the occasional trip to Biloxi for gambling where she played the slot machines.
She was an extraordinary, beautiful, God loving woman who put the Lord and her family first over her own self. She was loved by family and friends and will be dearly and forever missed.
She is preceded in death by her daughter Deborah Leigh Eilber.
Survived by her son, Mark Lee Livingston, 8 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service for Charlotte will be held Tuesday, October 29, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Riverside Memorial Park, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205.
