Charnege M. Wiggins, Sr., age 89, passed away Friday, October 31, 2014 in Orange Park, Florida. He was born July 24, 1925 in Appleton County, Georgia to Ira F. and Amanda (Fortner) Wiggins. He was a United States Navy veteran and enjoyed target shooting. He was preceded in death by his parents and son Harrel “Ricky” Wiggins. He will be missed by his sons C.M. Wiggins, Jr. (Linda), David Wiggins (Liz) and Larry Wiggins (Carman); daughters Donna Wiggins Rego and Renee Wiggins Ware; also several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Family will receive friends and family 1:00 -2:00 pm Sunday, November 9, 2014 at Hardage-Giddens Town & Country Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205, www.townandcountryfuneralhome.com. A Funeral service will follow the visitation at 2:00 pm at the funeral home. Interment will follow the funeral service at Riverside Memorial Park.
