Christopher Carolino Vergara Sr.

Christopher Carolino Vergara, Sr., age 73, passed away October 24, 2019 in Jacksonville, FL. Christopher was born on December 14, 1945 in the Philippines.. He obtained a bachelor's degree in education, and was a former employee at Hendricks Elementary School. He was also a member of Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. Christopher was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He will be deeply and sorely missed by all who knew and loved him.

Christopher is survived by his Josefina; his children and grandchildren Catherine “Irene” & Chester (grandson), Daniel and Fatima & kids (Ian, Camille, & Kat-kat),Christopher Jr. “Bong” and Lea & kids (Kristine, Francis & Christian), Raquel and Chester & kids (Xander & Apolollo).

A funeral mass will be held on Monday, November 4, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 8523 Normandy Boulevard, Jacksonville, FL 32221. Burial will follow at Riverside Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Hardage-Giddens Riverside Memorial Park and Funeral Home on Sunday, November 3, 2019.
