Claudia was a nurse for over 30 years. She started as a Licensed Practical Nurse so she was able to provide for her children. She next got her Registered Nursing Degree. She predominantly worked for Methodist Hospital retiring as the Emergency Room Charge Nurse. Claudia loved to travel and spent her retirement traveling with friends.
Claudia was preceded by her mother, Mayme Slater, granddaughter's, Jessica Neal and Sarah Nagy. She is survived by Cheryl Nagy, Meredith Wiirre, Martin Neal and Andrew Neal
She had 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
A memorial service for Claudia will be held Saturday, March 15, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Garden City Methodist Church, 3057 Dunn Ave, Jacksonville, FL 32218. A luncheon at the church will follow.
