Mr. Sykes is survived by his beloved Wife Alice E. Sykes; one daughter, Dana M. Farris (Timothy Sr.); two sons, Daniel A. Sykes, Jr. (Janet); one step-daughter, Tina Terrell; David A. Sykes, Sr. (Heather); one brother, K. C. Sykes (Joyce); one sister, Pam Johnson; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive guests, Tuesday, October 19, 2010, 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Town and Country Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Wednesday, October 20, 2010, 11:00 a.m. graveside at Riverside Memorial Park.
