David Lashley, 47, passed away Sunday, November 10, 2013. He was born November 14, 1965 to Marvin and Barbara Lashley in Jacksonville, FL. David owned Enviro Pest Control, was an avid race car driver and a pilot. He was a daredevil with a high enthusiasm for the need for speed. The faster the better. He was respected, admired and adored by all who knew him. P.J. was David’s best friend, confidant and the love of his life. He is preceded in death by one sister Lisa Gordon Daniels, and is survived by his wife of 14 years, Peggie (P.J.), his parents Marvin and Barbara Lashley, one step-son Quentin Robinson, his mother-in-law Bonnie Wilson, one sister Sharon (Steve) Covart, Grandmother Geraldine “Nana” Anderson, Aunt Frances Boatright, two nieces Anna and Rachel Covart, one nephew Bradley Gordon and his baby yorkie, Bubba who he put to bed every night. Arrangements under the care of Hardage-Giddens Town & Country Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32205. A visitation will be held for family and friends in the chapel on Friday, November 15, 2013 from 6:00-8:00pm. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2013 at 11:00am in the chapel with interment to follow in Riverside Memorial Park.
