David Richard Lundy, born on June 13, 1953, in Jacksonville, Florida, to Lloyd and Ann Lundy, lived a life full of love, dedication, and adventure. He graduated from Robert E. Lee High School and spent many years working at the shipyard before establishing a thriving HVAC business. Later, he contributed his talents to Coach. David's greatest joys came from spending time with his beloved children and grandchildren and exploring new places with his travel van. He also had a special place in his heart for his dogs, who were his faithful companions.
Preceded in death by his parents, David is survived by his children: Adam of Jacksonville, Florida; Jared (Natalie) of Suffolk, Virginia; and Rachel (Scott) of Olympia, Washington. He was a treasured grandfather to Grace, Lucy, Noah, Preston, Levi, and Benjamin. David also leaves behind his siblings, Sandy (Rudy) and Tim (Cindy), along with numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members who will deeply miss him.
A celebration of David's life will be held at Mars Hill Church in Jacksonville, Florida, at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 11, 2024.
