David Raymond Ross, age 73, of Jacksonville, Florida passed away on Tuesday, February 1, 2022, and is now rejoicing with the Lord. David was born July 13, 1948 to Joseph Raymond Ross and Virginia Marie Ross Rohmann. David touched the lives of many people throughout his life. He loved unconditionally! Many considered him their spiritual father and friend. He will be greatly missed!
He is survived by his wife Gladys Jane Ross; daughter Melissa Straley (Sean); step-daughter Rachel A. Yoder Bird (Jeff); step-son Michael D. Yoder; step-son Laroy S. Yoder (Rebecca); grandchildren Lisa Marie Ross Vickers (Garret), Mika Rena Jones, Nicole Bird, Lucia Bird, Samantha Yoder, Jason Yoder, Korey Yoder, Nickolas Yoder; eight great-grandchildren; siblings Beverly Ross, Louise Joyal (Danny), and Robert "Bob" Rohmann (Shay); and nieces and nephews.
A memorial service and tribute for David will be held on Sunday, February 6, 2022 at 10:45 AM, 355 Palencia Village Drive, St. Augustine, FL 32095, at 10:45 a.m.
