

Denton moved to Jacksonville, FL in March of 2015. Denton was a car transport trucker for Proficient Transport. He enjoyed any kind of fishing. From deep sea to local river banks, it was always a good day to fish. Denton also enjoyed cooking especially Jamaican cuisine. He also loved working with his hands. He enjoyed woodworking and building furniture. Denton met and married his wife Nicolette in August of 2005. He has six children. Denton was a loving husband and father. He loved his family with a deep passion. Denton was a very jovial, compassionate and peaceful person. His favorite Bible verse is Proverbs 15: 1 “A soft answer turneth away wrath but grievous words stir up anger.” Denton’s infectious personality will be sadly missed.
Denton was predeceased by his mother Vanetta Edmond. He is survived by his wife, Nicolette and six children; Shene, Roshane, Jhenelle, Jhaneil, Jevaughn and Jonae. He is also survived by his Father, Stephen Edmond and six siblings: Veroni, Gerald, Judith, Glenton, Eugenie and Barrington.
A visitation will be held on Friday November 9, 2018 from 6 to 8 pm at Hardage-Giddens Edgewood Chapel, 729 S. Edgewood Ave. Jacksonville, FL 32205. A Funeral Service will be held at the funeral Home on Saturday November 10, 2018, from 12 to 2 pm. A Committal Service will follow in Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery.
