Dondi Nicole Crane – Age 32. Born 15 Dec. 1981 in Bellefountaine, Ohio to parents Gregory W. and Marsha (Mattox) Crane. The family moved to Ridgecrest, California in 1982, then in 1984 to Jacksonville, Fla. She graduated in 2000 at Mandarin High School. A son, Lyric Parker Witter was born 27 Aug. 2009 to Brandon Witter and Dondi Crane. Dondi attended Florida State College and received a Surgical Technician degree at Concorde College. She was employed at St. Vincent Hospital prior to her unexpected death 10 March 2014.
Survivors include Dondi’s mother Marsha and husband Richard Sandrowicz of Jacksonville, Fla., Ronald, Eileen Bidwell, Daniel Mattox of Urbana, Ohio, Richard Hoy, Ralph, Chisato Mattox of Japan, Jerry, Cathey Mattox, Peg, Ed Watkins and family of Ridgecrest, California.
She was preceded in death by loving grandparents: Howard, Vesta (Neer) Mattox of Urbana, Ohio and their daughter, Lynn (Mattox) Funk of Jacksonville, Fla. Also, Dondi Crane’s father, Gregory Wayne Crane in May 2013 and parents Lee Bowerman and Ernie Crane.
