She was preceded in death by her parents, Lewis and Janice Doster, and her daughter, Brandy Woodfin. She is lovingly remembered by her devoted husband, Thomas Bauman; her daughter, Jackie Holloway, and son-in-law, Marchello Holloway; and her treasured grandchildren, Melissa Brunson, Ethan Perkins, Makinley Robinson, Noah Bradford, and Jaina Thompson; Tom's daughters Jackie Bauman and Melanie Bauman. Donna is also survived by her siblings Wally Doster, Rhonda McDermott, Lynn Kennedy, and Jerome Doster, along with many extended family members and friends whose lives she touched.
Donna had a heart as vast and deep as the ocean she loved. Her passion for the sea—especially dolphins—and her joy for saltwater fishing reflected her adventurous and peaceful spirit. She also found happiness in her garden, nurturing her flowers with the same care and tenderness she gave to those around her.
Known for her warmth and kindness, Donna never met a stranger. Her welcoming smile and vibrant personality could light up any room, and she had a rare gift for making people feel seen and loved.
Donna leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished by all who had the blessing of knowing her.
A visitation for Donna will be held at the Riverside Event Pavilion, 1373 Memorial Park Rd. Jacksonville, FL, 32205 on Friday, August 1, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, followed by a celebration of life memorial service at 3:00 PM.
