Eddie D. Harvey Sr., 56, went to be his lord peacefully on Thursday, March 15, 2012 in Jacksonville, FL. Eddie was born Raleigh County West Virginia to Joseph and Gladys Tyree. Eddie enjoyed his family and the outdoors. He is survived by his loving wife Susan Harvey; one son Eddie D. Harvey Jr., three daughters Audrea Victoria Harvey, Rachel Michele Lemley (John), Leah Diane Chalas (Christopher); two sisters Janie Catherine Kuhen (Henry), Patricia Lynn Hulderman (John); ten grandchildren who he adored Trevor Harvey, Quinton Sterling, Cherokee Sterling, Austin Sterling, Lyric Jarrell, Alex Janosz, Ethan Daso, Tavian Trumpler, Shea Trumpler, and Amarion Parker. A Visitation will held 7:00 – 9:00 pm on Sunday, March 18, 2012 at Hardage-Giddens Town & Country Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, Florida 32205. A Graveside Service will be held Monday, March 19, 2012 3:00 pm at Riverside Memorial Park, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205. In Lieu of flowers the family has requested for donations to be made to the American Diabetes Association, 8384 Baymeadows Road, Ste 10, Jacksonville, Florida 32256.
