Baxter, Effie Jean, 92, of North Little Rock, Arkansas for ten years went to be with the Lord surrounded by family on September 20, 2011. Effie is preceded by her husband Lawrence H. Baxter of twenty-nine years Parents; Cecelia Stacey and Kenneth Butt. Effie is survived by her sons; Larry ”Butch” (Lila) of Sherwood, AR., Kenneth Baxter of Callahan, FL, Chris Baxter (Gina) of Yulee, FL. Daughter; Gloria Howell (Chad) of B.C., Canada. Brothers; Norman Butt (Earla), Chancy Butt (Nellie), Harry Butt (Viola), of Newfoundland, Canada. Sister; Marge Lawrence of California. Twelve grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren and many more family and friends that love her very much and will miss her abundantly.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Hardage-Giddens Town and Country Funeral Home. 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, Florida 32205. Visitation will be held at Graveside at 10:00 am. on Saturday, Spetember 24, 2011. Funeral service to follow at Riverside Memorial Park located at 7242 Normandy Blvd. on September 24, 2011.
