Eleanor Faye Beck

Eleanor F. Beck, 77, passed away at home after a long battle with cancer on January 16, 2018. She was born in Middletown, Missouri to Earl and Vera Park and was 1 of 11 children. She was married 40 years to Johnny Beck.

She was a nurse for over 35 years, retired for 20. She loved gardening and spending time with her family. She was a loving mom and mema. She spent Sunday’s worshipping her Lord at First Baptist Church of Callahan. She is predeceased by her husband, Johnny, her granddaughter Lindsay, her mother, father and seven siblings.

She is survived by her two children, John Beck and Ellen (Barry) Cross; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Friday, January 19, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in Hardage-Giddens Chapel Hills Funeral Home, 850 St. Johns Bluff Road N. Jacksonville, FL 32225.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, January 20, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the First Baptist Church of Callahan, 45090 Green Ave. Callahan, FL 32011 with Pastor Lynn Hyatt officiating. The family will reconvene at 1:00 p.m. at Hardage-Giddens Chapel Hills Funeral Home & Memory Gardens, 850 St. Johns Bluff Road N. Jacksonville, FL 32225.
