Ellen T Hood, age 64, passed away Wednesday, September 10, 2014 in Jacksonville, Florida. She was born July 18, 1950 in East Weymouth, Massachusetts to Richard and Katherine (Peaslee) Benham. Ellen attended Westside Baptist Church. She worked as a Warranty Clerk for automotive industry. She also work 8 years for Winn Dixie Foods. Ellen will be missed dearly by her loving husband of 14 years Charles E Hood; son Nathaniel Ryan(Christina); step daughters Teresa Wells and Laura Wheelin; siblings Richard Neil Benham Jr (Bernie),Katherine Derrick (Jim), Michael Benham, Sharon Doster(Jimmy), Erin Bremer(Mark), Charles Benham (Sue); grandchildren Tate Parker Ryan, Halie, Marshall, Mary, Kalie, Krista, and Nikki; and one great grandson Rowen. Family will receive friends and family 5:00 – 7:00 pm Saturday, September 13, 2014 at Hardage- Giddens Town & Country Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205, www.townandcountryfuneralhome.com. A Funeral service will follow the service at 7:00 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be 11:00 am Sunday September 14, 2014 at Riverside Memorial Park.
