Elma A. Wright Crews, 83, passed away Sunday, May 25, 2014 in Jacksonville, FL. She was born March 18, 1931 to John and Rose Wright in Ware County, GA. Elma was employed for many years at Famous Amos restaurants in Jacksonville, FL. She is preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, James H. Crews, three sons, Curtis A. Blalock Jr., Ernest Blalock, Mike Crews, one daughter, Jeanette Williams. Elma is survived by three sons, Ricky (Barbara) Blalock, Jimmy (Joanie) Blalock, Charlie (Jennie) Blalock, five daughters, Rose (Tommy) Bright, Geneva (Jimmy) Falana, Helen Cummings, Evelyn Blalock, Cindy (Mike) Williams, six brothers, four sisters, 23 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren. Arrangements under the care of Hardage-Giddens Town & Country Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32205. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, May 29, 2014 from 11:00am-12:00pm in the chapel. Funeral services will be held at 12:00pm in the chapel. Interment to follow at Riverside Memorial Park.
