

Esther Braddock Bruno, 84, went home to be with our Lord on July 20, 2022. Esther was born on May 27, 1938 in Callahan, FL, and was a graduate of Andrew Jackson High School in 1957. Esther proudly worked for the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles for over 31 years, but her most treasured time was spent with her family.
She is preceded in death by her father, Wesley Braddock; mother and step-father, Martha and Frank Bruno; brother, Everette Braddock; beloved husband Sam Bruno; and grandson Vincent Cooper.
Esther is survived by her daughters, Terri Cooper and Angie (Bill) Bastian; granddaughters Shelly (Zach) Neaves, Haley Bastian, and Samantha (Brandon) Stewart; great grandsons Samuel and George Neaves; brother Frank (Deborah) Bruno; and numerous dear relatives and friends.
Additionally, the family would like to thank the staff at Baptist Hospital South and Community Hospice for the great care provided.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Hardage-Giddens Town and Country Funeral Home located at 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32205. A public visitation will be held, Tuesday July 26, 2022 from 5:00 - 7:00 P.M. Funeral service will be held at Crossroads Baptist Church, 12165 Duval Road, Jacksonville, FL 32218 on Wednesday July 27, 2022 at 11:30 A.M., Pastor Anthony Rister officiating, followed by an interment at Riverside Memorial Park at 1:00 P.M.
