Ethelene Sever

Mrs. Ethelene Tillery Sever passed away at the age of 91 at her residence surrounded by her family on Friday May 27, 2022. She was born on July 20, 1930 in Tifton, Georgia to the late Harley Tillery and Nancy Poole. She grew up working on a farm as a young girl. She married the first love of her life at 16 years old. As a young adult she moved to Jacksonville, Florida where she met the second love of her life.

Mrs. Sever is preceded in death by her late husband John W. Sever, late brothers and sister Robert, Harvey, Edgar, Darrell Tillery and Clearcy Fincher. For late children, two at a very young age, Randy Duke and Barbara Horne. One grandchild Jonathan A. Horne. One great-grandchild in utero.

She is survived by five grandchildren Timothy (Amanda) Horne, Nickie Wilcox, Lason (Abbe and Mandy) Horne, Jamie Duke, and Adam Duke. Also survived by thirteen grandchildren Angel, April, Damian, Maya, Alex, Naleigh, LJ, Paisley, Trinity, Jayden, CJ, June and Kade.

A Funeral Service will be held 12pm Saturday June 12, 2022 with 1 hour prior visitation at Hardage-Giddens Riverside Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd Jacksonville, FL 32205. Interment to follow at Riverside Memorial Park, Jacksonville, Florida.
