Evelyn was born in Cross City, Florida to Olin and Vida Evans.
Evelyn was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She gave love, care and guidance to all around her. She enjoyed reading, cooking and listening to her favorite music. She devoted her life to caring for others.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years Ed, parents, sister Joann and grandson Ryan. She is survived by her sons Bruce, Michael (Sharon) , daughter Kathy(Marty), 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
A funeral service for Evelyn will be held Friday, August 22, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Hardage-Giddens, Riverside Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205, followed by a committal service at Riverside Memorial Park.
