Faye Doppke passed away August 15, 2011 surrounded by her loving family in Jacksonville, FL. Faye was born in Boston, Massachusetts to Joseph and Esther Wax. She moved here in 1975. Faye enjoyed old movies and being with her family. She was a loving mother and grandmother who was cute and always funny. Faye loved her family and was very selfless, worrying about everyone else but herself.
She was predeceased by her loving husband of 43 years, Karl and their son Eric. Faye is survived by her loving children, Michael (Lynn), Howard (Lyndy), Robyn, and Karlyn (Ben); grandchildren Kathryn (Josh) and Aubrey; Heather, Sarah, Jennifer and Chelsea; Jay, Eryn (Mitchell) and Christine (Kile); Erica and Samuel; and Amber and Kevin; and great-grandchildren MaKayla, Karl, Sophie and Judah.
A memorial service will be held 11 am Saturday August 20 at Hardage-Giddens Chapel Hills, 850 St. Johns Bluff Rd. with Dr. Albert Byrd officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. The family would like to extend special thanks to Ann Pease and her family.
