

Mr. Lovelace enlisted in the U.S. Navy during World War II, in March 1943 as a Gunner’s Mate and later received an honorable discharge in November 1945. Following his tenure in the Navy, he received a GED and special studies in carpentry, blueprinting and design. Frank was a carpenter and maintenance employee for 28 years with Sun Oil Company, Marcus Hook, PA. He was a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was a member of the Masons and a Deacon at the Garden City Chapel, Wallingford, PA and Lewisburg Bible Club, Lewisburg, PA. Frank was a member of Westside Baptist Church for 29 years and he and his wife served on various mission trips to Mexico and Ecuador. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, baseball, bowling, golf, travel and carpentry. He was known as “Pop” to everyone and will always be remembered for helping his family or any neighbor who needed assistance.

His parents, Lloyd Lovelace and Osie Ryder; his daughter, Phyllis Lovelace Robbins (Mike); grandson, Robert Franklin Koncir; and three brothers and four sisters.
Survived by:
His wife, Anna Craig Lovelace, Jacksonville, FL; his sister, Peggy Lovelace King, Bear, DL; his daughters, Patricia Lovelace Haig (Mike) Philadelphia, PA, Donna Lovelace Campbell (Ted) Jacksonville, FL; his grandchildren, Faith Haig Dewees (John), Carl Haig (Chris), Dawn Campbell, Craig Campbell, Crissy Campbell Colby (Chris); and six great grandchildren.

A visitation for Frank will be held Friday, September 6, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Westside Baptist Church, 7775 Herlong Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32210, followed by a celebration of life at 11:30 AM.
