Gerda Johanne (Imken) Perno from Jacksonville, Florida widow of Alfred Perno passed peacefully at the home of her daughter on June 24, 2023. She was born on February 14, 1927 to Gerhard Hinrich Imken and Geske Wolters Imken who preceded her in death. Left to celebrate her life and mourn her loss are a daughter Susan Deal Ramsey and husband Ron Ramsey, son Ronnie Perno. Grand children Jessica Deal Schadt and husband Bryan, Virginia Ramsey, Kendall Ramsey and wife Sydney Bryant, Brandy Perno and Shawn Perno. Great grand children Noah and David Schadt, Kadin, Karson, Kameron, McKayla and McKenzie Mixon. And several nieces and nephews in England and Germany.
A visitation for Gerda will be held Saturday, July 1, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Hardage-Giddens, Riverside Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205. A funeral service will occur Saturday, July 1, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205. A committal service will occur Saturday, July 1, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at Riverside Memorial Park, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205.
