Gladys R. O'Neal

Gladys R. O'Neal passed away peacefully following a short illness on September 10th, 2013 in Jacksonville, Florida. Gladys was born in Leesburg, Florida on February 13th, 1932. Gladys married William Junior O'Neal of Vidalia, Georgia on July 4th, 1948. She is survived by her six children; Betty R. Traylor (Burl), William C. O'Neal (Neida), Linda M. Crawford (Dan), Peggy J. Heath (George), Deloris A. Hunt, and Carl W. O'Neal (Terry), nine grandchildren; Wendy A. Williams (Keith), Philip D. Crawford, Benjamin C. O'Neal (Renee), Jessica R. Griffis (Josh), Jason L. O'Neal (Erika), Serena D. Finnick (Robert), Justin S. O'Neal, Patricia A. Brunson (Brian), and Robert L. Traylor; thirteen great-grandchildren; Brittany N. Williams, Emily L. Finley, Ethan B. Crawford, Brooke A. Williams, Alisa J. O'Neal, Madelyn R. Stepp, Brenton C. O'Neal, Brayden N. O'Neal, Mikayla J. Brunson, Makenleigh G. O'Neal, Addison E. Griffis, Robert E. Finnick. Gladys was a member of First Baptist Church of Middleburg. She enjoyed fishing, cooking, sewing, and crusing the Carribean with her family. She was an employee at St. Luke's Hospital for 15 years. Gladys will be greatly missed by her large family, who loved her more than anything. A viewing will be held Friday, Steptember 13th at Town and Country Funeral Home from 6-8 p.m. A celebration of Gladys' life will take place Saturday, September 14th, at First Baptist Church of Middleburg at 11:00 a.m, with a precession to follow to Riverside Memorial Park.
