Glenn Martin Wilke Jr.

He was born in the United States Territory of Guam on July 7th, 1975 and grew up in Boerne, Texas. Glenn graduated from Smithson Valley High School and after servicing 4 years in the United States Navy he moved to Jacksonville, Florida. Glenn attended Jacksonville University and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Management. He worked as a Network Administrator at Watson Mortgage in Jacksonville, Florida.

On February 14th, 2002 Glenn married his loving wife Deena Wilke. They spent many years hosting parties and get togethers for their friends and family, giving back to the community and making sure to take time to enjoy family trips. Glenn loved his wife, his family, and his friends. Let’s not forget how he adored his truck and his Harley motorcycle. He had a passion for playing golf, video games and he was a wizard at fixing all of our computer issues and showing us the best shortcuts. He always had the ability to fix anything and was always willing to lend a helping hand.

He was survived by his wife, Deena Wilke, and children: Adam Matthew Wilke, Andrea Leanne Wilke, David Christopher Wilke, and his step-daughter Lainey Ann Rivera; his sisters, Amy Wilke Feser and Jennifer Wilke; his brother, Christopher Wilke; and his mother, Patricia Goetz.

Even though Glenn left us much too soon; he connected with many people in his life and he will live on in the hearts of his grandmothers, uncles, aunts, cousins, friends, and all of those who loved him.

Every single characteristic and quality of Glenn will be truly missed. He has left a long-lasting impression on everyone that he has crossed paths with. Our hearts are broken that he has left us way too soon.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, August 26th at 3:00 p.m. in Hardage-Giddens Chapel Hills Funeral Home, 850 St. Johns Bluff Road North. Jacksonville, Florida 32225.
