On Sunday, March 25, 2018, Greg Evans, husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend, passed away in his sleep at home at the age of 49. He was born December 30, 1968 to Robert and Sylvia Evans in Phoenix, Arizona. On July 5, 2015 he married Donna Stull in Jacksonville, Florida.
Greg was a happy-go-lucky kind of guy who loved life and God. From a young age, Greg was greatly involved in bowling. He would often go to the bowling center and help set pins so he could pay for his bowling. Greg was well known in Jacksonville not only for the advocate bowler he grew to be (bowling a total of 48 "300" games and many "800" series and even once held the city record of an "856"), which put him into the 1st Coast Bowling Hall of Fame.
Greg was a devoted worker at King Pins Bowling Center for 9 years where he also owned his Pro shop – Bowling Unlimited. Many would come from all over to have their bowling ball drilled. Greg was a very smart and talented person. He could fix anything you put in front of him even if it didn't need to be fixed.
Greg will forever be missed and remembered by his wife and best friend Donna, and their precious children, Jasmine, Rebecca, Alex and grandchildren Journey and Jagger. Greg will also remain in the hearts of his nephews, other relatives and extended family (bowling and church). A celebration of Greg’s life will be held at 1:00 on Friday, March 31st. at the Potter's House International Ministries, 5119 Normandy Blvd Jacksonville Fl 32205. In Lei of flowers, those who so desire may make a memorial donation in memory of Greg to the Potter's House.
