Helen L Vance, age 74, passed away Wednesday December 2, 2015 in Jacksonville Florida. She was born in Verner, West Virginia on March 6, 1941 to Jenning and Garnett (Bartram) Harvey. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother Daniel Bartram. Helen retired after 27 years of service from Anchor Glass where she was an Inspector. She enjoyed cooking and spending many hours with her family, especially her grandbabies who she adored.
Helen will be missed dearly by her loving husband of 57 years Jerry Vance; son Terry Vance: daughter Tammy Scott (Buddy); grandchildren Steve Scott (Jen) and Ashley Bustion (Gerald); great grandchildren Haley Scott, Chloe Acree, and Paisley Bustion. Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Monday December 7, 2015 at Inman Memorial United Methodist Church, 5334 New Kings Road, Jacksonville, FL 32254. Interment will follow the services at Riverside Memorial Park, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Hardage-Giddens Town & Country Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205.
