

Hilda left her hometown of Aguas Buenas, Puerto Rico in 1953 in order to make a better life for herself.
She lived in Paterson, NJ until she moved to Spring Hill, FL. In 2011 she moved to Jacksonville, FL.
Hilda was a parishioner at St John’s Cathedral when she lived in Paterson, NJ. She was an active member of the Charismatic Ministry. When she moved to Spring Hill, FL she was a parishioner at St Joan of Arc where she was a Eucharistic Minister. When she moved to Jacksonville she was a parishioner at The Most Holy Redeemer where she was a Eucharistic Minister.
Hilda has 3 children Vilma Millan (Edwin), Norma Doughman, Pedro Claudio Jr who predeceased her in 2011. Also, she was predeceased by her husband Pedro Claudio in 2016.
She leaves behind 4 sisters: Lucila Delgado, Maria Santiago, Angeles Lopez and Maria Virginia Rivera, grandchildren: Peterjohn Millan (Stacey), Raquel Millan, Natalie Claudio, Ashley Claudio, Adrianna Claudio and HazelAnne Claudio and 7 great grandchildren.
Hilda was a “spitfire”. She loved to sing and dance. When she was not cooking, cleaning or watching television she enjoyed reading and Word Search puzzles.
A visitation for Hilda will be held Saturday, April 5, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Riverside Event Pavilion, 1737 Memorial Park Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32205, followed by a celebration of life at 1:00 PM.
