Osteen, his daughters: Pam Bauman, Sherry Dennard, Bonnie Witkin, Sandra Dennard, and Regina Bennett along with his 12 grandchildren, 10 great children and many nieces and nephews. Born on March 16, 1938 in Norfolk Virginia to Malita Dennard he was raised in Jacksonville by his Aunt Ruth Dennard. After graduating Robert E. Lee he went on to serve in the United States Air Force where he received numerous medals and commendations for his outstanding service and dedication to his country. He retired after over 20 years of distinguished service. After retiring he dedicated the next 20 years to law enforcement with FDLE. He tirelessly serviced his country, community, friends and neighbors, most importantly he served his family.
A visitation for friends and family will be on Sunday, September 8, 2019 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Hardage-Giddens Riverside Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd. Funeral services held on Monday, September 9, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow the funeral service at Riverside Memorial Park.
