Jacqueline Lambert McMurray

Mrs. McMurray was born in Carbur, Taylor County, Florida. She attended Annie Lytle Elementary School and graduated from Robert E Lee High School. She was a lifelong resident of Jacksonville, Florida and died on July 16, 2025.

She and her loving husband, Roy E McMurray, Jr. were founding members of San Jose Baptist Church on San Jose Blvd. She taught Sunday School for many years at San Jose Baptist Church. She worked with her husband, Roy at Times Square Hardware and Feed Co. on University Blvd. as the bookkeeper.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dallas Lambert and Edna Knight Lambert, her husband, Roy E McMurray and her great grandson, Alexander Gray-Still.

She is survived by her children, Julia A McMurray, David R McMurray (Patricia) and Cynthia M Cuneo (Chris), her grandchildren, Arrington G Lentz (Bryan), Amanda M Roe (Jonathan) and Cassie McMurray, and her great grandsons Cameron Lentz, Jack Lentz, Owen Roe and Liam Roe.

A visitation for Jacqueline will be held Monday, July 21, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM followed by a funeral service starting at 12:00 PM at Hardage Giddens Chapel Hills, 850 St Johns Bluff Road North, Jacksonville, FL 32225. A committal service take place in the cemetery after the funeral service.
