James Earl Freeman, Sr., 80, of Glen St. Mary, Florida passed away peacefully October 4, 2016, following a lengthy illness. He served in the U.S. ARMY and was a diesel mechanic for 32 years. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Mary Freeman; his beloved dog, BAMA; two sons James ( Vickie) Freeman of Jacksonville, Florida ,and Robert ( Brenda ) Freeman, of Glen St. Mary, Florida ; daughter Linda White and Fiancé Greg Stephens of Glen St. Mary, Florida; eight grandchildren Timothy, Taylor, Cody, James, Amber, Aundrea, Aaron, and Breanna; nine great grandchildren Jaydon, Calie, Genessa, Ava, Savannah,Gemma, Skylar, Adalyn,and Kelsey. He is also survived by three sisters and two brothers. Services to honor the life of Mr. Freeman will be held Friday, October 14, 2016 at 1:00 pm at Hardge-Giddens Town and Country Funeral Home, with Pastor Johnny Raulerson and Terry Chandler officiating. Viewing for the family and friends will be Thursday, October 13, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00pm at Hardage-Giddens Town and Country Funeral Home.
