He was an Ordained Minister since 1955, served in the U.S. Navy and U.S. Marine Corps. He was a veteran of WWII.
Family members include his daughters, Tyra, Theresa, Renee, Joanna, Valerie and Angie, 20 grandchildren and 50 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11am, Friday, April 15, 2016 at Arlington Baptist Church, 6009 Arlington Rd. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Chapel Hills Memory Gardens, 850 St. Johns Bluff Rd. N.
