

Jim was born on May 3rd, 1940 in Jersey City, NJ. In 1958, at 18, he left home to join the United States Marine Corps, retiring as Gunnery Sergeant in 1978. Jim married the love of his life on October, 6, 1961.
Jim leaves behind his wife of 60 years, Carolyn Joan Rusnak, and their two children David (Jennifer) Rusnak and Steven Rusnak along with 5 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Sisters: Lynn Steele, Joyce Smith, Gail (Larry) Gonzales, Nancy (Robert) McKimson; Brothers: Bobby (Kathy) Rusnak, Steven (Terri) Rusnak, Ralph (Len) Potter, Gary (Regina) Potter along with many more friends and family.
Jim was very passionate about the USMC and golf but most importantly, family! Jim loved everyone he came in contact with. Jim spent the last 17 years of his life working alongside his son at Symrise in Maintenance.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents; Steven and Madeline Rusnak, Siblings; Betty Svenson, Jean Neilson, Janet Trembley and David Smith.
