James G. Vinzant, Sr., 73, went home to be with the Lord on December 29th. He was a native of Jacksonville, and graduated from Robert E. Lee High School. He was retired from the Terminal Railroad and owned the Dreamette for 37 years. James is survived by his wife of 52 years, Arveen Vinzant; his son, Gary Vinzant; sisters, Sonja (Dixon) Harpe, and Jan (Gary) Gleim; nieces, Christie (Eric) Weigand, and Natalie Gleim; nephews, Wade Gleim and Brett Gleim. Arrangements are under the care of Hardage-Giddens Town & Country Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers you may send memorials to Northeast Community Hospice Acosta Rua Center for Caring, at 5450 Ramona Blvd., Jacksonville, FL. 32205. A Private Memorial Service will be held in the near future.
