Jane was preceded in death by her parents, Elizabeth and William Welsh, and her sister, Susan Russell. She is survived by her daughter, Emily; son-in-law, Victor; beloved grandchildren, Victoria and Emilio; her brother, Richard (Ingrid) Welsh; her brother-in-law, Roger Stewart; and her cherished nieces and nephews in the Welsh and Russell families.
Jane was known for her vibrant, outgoing personality. She had a gift for making people feel special — whether through a thoughtful gift or her infectious laughter. She was truly the life of the party. But above all, Jane’s greatest legacy was her love for Jesus. She never missed an opportunity to share about her relationship with Him and how her faith transformed her life.
In her younger years, Jane found joy boating on the lakes of Arizona and taking spontaneous road trips to Prescott. She enjoyed music and attended many concerts, especially her then-favorite, Dennis DeYoung.
Later in life, her greatest joy was being a “Mamaw.” She loved spending time with her grandkids, cheering them on at school and extracurricular activities, and creating special memories together. One of her favorite traditions was watching WWE wrestling placing friendly bets on the matches just for fun.
Jane also enjoyed playing cards, attending dinner shows, and vacationing with her dear friends — always adding joy and laughter wherever she went.
While no formal service is planned, those wishing to honor Jane’s memory may do so by making a donation to The Church of Eleven22 in her name using the QR code below (see images in "Memories"). You are also invited to upload photos and share memories on this obituary site as a way to celebrate her life and legacy.
