Jesse L. Leasher, Jr., passed away June 22, 2014 in Jacksonville, FL where he had been a resident for 36 years. He was born in Brierhill, PA on May 20, 1943 to Jesse L. Leasher, Sr. and Anne Porter Leasher. Jesse retired from US Navy as Petty Officer 1st Class, after serving 10 years in the USMC which included 3 tours in Vietnam. He was a member of Celebration Church of Jacksonville. He is preceded in death by his parents and wife of 40 years, Minnie Beth Leasher. He is survived by five children, Scott Leasher, Jesse Leasher, III, Kristi McDaniel, Terry Roberts and Shelly Tapley; four sisters, Beverly Battaglini, Shirley Hartman, Audrey Genest and Nancy Bogol; two brothers, Terry Leasher and Kenneth Leasher; and twelve grandchildren.
