John Richard Foxworth, Sr., age 89, passed away in Jacksonville, FL on October 6, 2024. He was born in Brooker, Alachua County, FL on March 3, 1935 to Samuel A. Foxworth and Mildred M. Foxworth. He graduated from Andrew Jackson High School in 1954 and married Martha Lanell (Ford) Foxworth on October 1, 1954. He was in Air Force-Air National Guard for 36 years.
John is survived by daughters, Martha Jean Bodiford (L.C. Sr.) and Ann Marie Clark; sons, John R. Foxworth, Jr and Gary R. Foxworth (Tammy); five grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by wife, Martha Lanell Foxworth.
A visitation for John will be held Saturday, October 26, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Hardage-Giddens, Riverside Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205. A funeral will occur Saturday, October 26, 2024 at 2:00 PM, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205. A committal will occur Saturday, October 26, 2024 at 3:00 PM at Riverside Memorial Park, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205.
