Slay, John Edward “Johnny”, 39, of Jacksonville, died September 5, 2011 in Colorado. Johnny is preceded in death by his father Tommy Slay. He is survived by his mother, Jannette Slay; daughter Raina (Cubbie) Slay; sisters Amanda Hassell and Kendra Tanner; brother-in-law Gene Tanner; Nieces Kendra and Kelsey Hassell. Johnny will be remembered for his love of family and friends.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Hardage-Giddens Town and Country Funeral Home 7242 Normandy Blvd. Jacksonville, FL. 32205. Visitation will be Sunday, September 11, 2011 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 12, 2011 at 11:00 am. Interment to follow at Riverside Memorial Park.
