Johnny Lee Denmark, was born on March 18, 1933 at Duval Medical Center to parents John L. Denmark and Mary A. Ferdon Denmark. Mom reach out from above for Dad’s hand on October 23, 2021 at St. Vincent’s Hospice Care when she saw the pain was too much to bear.
Johnny went as far as 10th grade but had a degree in life in many ways. He lived all of his life in Jacksonville, FL and became a certified welder on June 23, 1970. He told many stories of his welding career, how he welded all over Jacksonville. He also loved to catch the big one but was a Jack-of-all-Trades.
Johnny was preceded in death by his parent John L. and Mary A. Denmark and his loving wife Mary C. Denmark.
He is survived by his children Linda Biener of Florida, Diane Dunning (Doyle) of Arlington, Texas, Joel A. Denmark (Melonie) of Florida, Marie Pivonka of Florida, Brentice Millsaps (Chad) of Florida, and Mary Frances of Florida and his baby girl and caretaker Barbara Lee Bishop (Dwight) of Florida and may have some rolling stones, I’ll never know. Also survived by 2 brothers Jack H. Denmark of Georgia and David Denmark (Janey) of Florida; and a host of grandkids and great-grandkids and many loving family and friends.
Special thanks to St. Vincent’s and Hospice Care for trying to ease his pain and I would like to thank my sister Brentice and Uncle David for being there when I needed someone. FOREVER GREATFUL.
