Joseph Donald McLeod, 78, passed away January 3, 2012. He was a native of Live Oak, and a life-long resident of Florida. Don, as he was affectionately called, had retired from the A & P Tea Company and Overnite Transportation Company, and was a life-long Gator fan. Go Gators!! He was preceded in death by his parents, Lula Platt McLeod and William Neal McLeod, sister, Bea McLeod, and brother, Wilbur McLeod.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Jo Ann McLeod; children, Pamela Parker (Robbie) and LCDR Deborah Boylan, USN (Patrick); grandchildren, Brett Parker (Jessica), Amber Jones (Daniel), Kyle Parker, Trey Parker, Kaleb Parker, Kirsten Boylan, Reilly Boylan, Matthew Boylan and Daniel Boylan; great-grandchildren, James Boylan, Leah Jones and Madeline Parker; brothers, William Neal McLeod, Kenneth McLeod and Clenton McLeod; many loving nieces, nephews and good friends.
A memorial service will be held Friday, January 6, 2012, at 10:00 AM, at Town and Country Chapel.
