Judy retired from the Duval County Public Schools. She graduated from Florida Community College at Jacksonville. She loved sewing and doing crafts. She was a former Girl Scout Leader. She enjoyed spending time with friends and family.
Judy is predeceased by her father, James Marcus Locke, her mother, Patricia Glespen Locke Sleeper and stepfather, Lee Sleeper. Judy has two children, daughter Virginia Hammitt Welch (Kevin), son John Marcus Hammitt (Kim), five grandchildren, Brandon and Joshua (Virginia), Zachary, Haven, Kacie (Marcus), and one great-grandchild, Brooklynn (Brandon). Judy was an only child but has beloved cousins.
The family will not be having services at this time.
