She was born in Jacksonville, Florida to the late Martin and Lila Padgett, July 28, 1932. June is preceded in death by her son, Richard Whiddon; Brother Louis Padgett and half sister Mildred Dixon.
She is survived by her husband her Fred Ellis; sons Gary (Amy) Ellis, Fred Ellis Jr.; daughters Delores Head, Linda (Darrell) Barrow; 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 PM Wednesday, December 22, 2010 located at Town and Country Funeral Home 7242 Normandy Blvd Jacksonville, Florida 32205.
Funeral service will be 11:00AM Thursday, December 23, 2010 in the Funeral Home Chapel, officiating is Pastor Larry McGinley. Interment will follow to Riverside Memorial Park.
Pallbearers are Paul Hinson, Richie Isacs, Dewitt Crews, Glenn Whiddon, Kenny Whiddon and Leroy Starling
