She was preceded in death by her father, Ardell Armstrong, mother, Ollie Mae Pinkston, her stepfather, John S. Pinkston, brother Berney Armstrong and her husband of 46 years Roy C Maiden. Survivors include brother, Billy Pinkston, her son Roy Maiden jr. Along with 2 granddaughters whom she was known as “Shadow” Gabryel Maiden and Ava Maiden who were the lights of her world. Numerous cousins, nieces (favorite being Andrea Lynn and Kay) and nephews as well as other family and friends.
Kay graduated from Lee High School in 1952, Married Roy C Maiden 1957 and retired from Prudential Insurance Company. Kay was a long-standing member of Hendricks Avenue Baptist Church.
The funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 27, 2022 at 11:00 am Graveside at Riverside Memorial Park located at 7242 Normandy Blvd. Jacksonville, FL 32205. Reverend Bruce Armstrong to officiate. The family will receive friends at the Riverside Memorial Park Chapel at 10:00 am until the service time. There will a meal following the services for all who wish to attend at West Meadows Baptist. Located 11711 Normandy Blvd.
