Kelly was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He is survived by his wife, Kerri, his three daughters, Amber, Autum and her boyfriend Brian, and Lisa, his grandson Charles, and his son-in-law, Nathaniel. He is also survived by his siblings, Darlene, Brandon and Nikole, his Uncle Renus, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Kelly worked most of his life as a commercial electrician. Kelly installed the electricity for a great deal of the commercial buildings across Florida, many that you probably frequent today. He had a lot of experience in this field and took pride in sharing his knowledge with others.
Kelly had a heart of gold. He was a great communicator, fun-spirited, and loved his family and friends unconditionally. He was the type of person that enjoyed giving to others, whether he knew you or not, even if he had little to give. He also cared for his Grandmother and Mother in their later years. He loved sailboats and would go by the dock to watch the boats when he could, he enjoyed listening to music and watching western movies.
If you asked him what he wanted as a gift for any occasion his response was always “A Long Horn gift card or silver coins," although receiving gifts with pictures of his grandson surely lit him up! He was loved by many and will forever be in our hearts.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, February 23, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at Riverside Memorial Park, 7242 Normandy Boulevard, Jacksonville, FL 32205.
